- Setting CT Ratio
- Setting Meter Date and Time
- Setting Demand Period or Resetting Max Demand
- Setting Time of Use Tariffs
- Setting Pulse Output Ratio (v.4 and v.5 Omnimeters only)
You can use the EKM Dash to change settings in your meters if you are using a USB Converter or iSerial (discontinued) to read your meters (you can also make meter settings online when reading your meter(s) with a Push3 gateway, via the online account portal). The settings you can change are things like CT Ratio, Meter Time, Reset Max Demand, Set Demand Period, Change Meter Number (NOT recommended), Change Password (Super NOT recommended), Set Time of Use, etc.
Below are the steps to change some of these settings.
To Set the CT Ratio (set to 200A by default unless indicated by a sticker on the meter):
- Make sure you have good meter communications. You want to be sure that your EKM Dash is reliably reading your meter with the USB Converter or iSerial and is getting good meter data.
- From the main window in Dash click the meter you would like to edit in the Meters listbox in the upper left.
- From the main Dash window, click the "Meters" icon in the upper left corner.
- Click "Edit meter..."
- Click the "Advanced" icon at the top of the window.
- At the bottom of the window is now a drop-down list where you can select the correct CT Ratio for the CTs you are using with this meter.
- When you are ready, click the "Set" button.
- It will prompt you the enter the password. The default password is "0"
- It will let you know if changing the setting was successful. If it was, great. If not, try again. It sometimes takes a few tries to complete successfully, especially if you are reading multiple meters with one USB Converter or iSerial.

To Set Time of Use Tariffs (TOU):
- Make sure you have good meter communications. You want to be sure that your EKM Dash is reliably reading your meter with the USB Converter or iSerial and is getting good meter data.
- If you are setting TOU tariffs, it is most likely because your utility bill is broken out by TOU. Your should first familiarize yourself with how exactly your utility company is doing this. What are the time periods for each TOU tariff? Are there different tariff schedules for different seasons, holidays, or on weekends? Having answers to these questions will make it easier to understand your options when you begin to set up these tariffs in Dash.

- From the main Dash window, click the "Meters" icon in the upper left corner.
